The Centrifuge Accommodations Module in ISS - Nobody knew where she head for

In September 1997, Japan and USA agree a barter trade NASA's space shuttle shipment to International Space Station (ISS), for Japan Experiment Module (JEM), with making a gravitational biology research facility in ISS by Japan. Then, government of Japan started a project for developing this gravitation module in ISS, named as the Centrifuge Accommodations Module (CAM).

This Centrifuge facility in ISS, 2.5m in diameter, its plan was consisted 1.2t rotor and some parts, like a life science glovebox, habitat subsystems, and so on. It was able to make gravity from 0.01G to 2.00G in ISS.

GOJ ordered developing this centrifuge to "NASDA", National Space Development Agency of Japan as special company under the government, and planed more 50 billion Yen as investment for it. The Centrifuge project in NASDA, targeting launch to ISS in 2006 by space shuttle, with their contractor Mitsubishi Heavy Industry as the module maker, Toshiba as 1.2t rotor maker, Ishikawajima Harima Heavy industry as life science glovebox, and so on, acted for 8 years.

And then, the end of project came suddenly. In 2005, NASA released about scaling down of ISS program including abandonment the Centrifuge module. JAXA, Japan Aerospace eXploration Agency which succeeded NASDA, got the interests of launching JEM by space shuttle without completion of the Centrifuge Accommodations Module.

After the abandonment, there was a test model of the Centrifuge Accommodations Module in Tsukuba Space Centre, as one of main site of JAXA in science at least until October 2017. But unnoticed, she is no longer there. In general, nobody knows she head for.
