Shibushi - Oil Stockpile Site
In this April, government of Japan decided to sell oil from national reserve. And it is first time since 1978, When Japan started the national stockpiling program.

When I've been Kagoshima, I seen part of the stockpiling program. After the long driving in mountain road, It was seen between the trees. A lots of storage tanks are over Shibushi-bay. They said that these are 40 storage tanks, total capacity 27.6 million barrels.

I really understood that 1973 oil crisis, caused the Fourth Arab–Israeli War, is trauma in this country even today. So, Today GOJ, including JOGMEC, have 11 Oil Stockpile Site totaling 324,000,000 barrels, and promote some Private reserves.
